Description
The DMR Summer Jazz Workshop brings together serious music students from all across Fairfield County through a weeklong day camp experience where students will learn Jazz standards along with the necessary chords and scales to improvise on them. The week will feature a world class rhythm section and guest clinicians as they coach students in preparation for a performance in Norwalk, CT. The week ends with a trip into NYC to visit famous venues including world famous Birdland to hear Jazz at the highest level.

Wednesday August 5th – 9am to 4pm
Thursday August 6th – 9am to 4pm, 6pm to 7pm Performance
Friday August 7th – 9am to 12pm, 12pm to 9pm Trip to Birdland Jazz Club
