Jazz Lab – Winter 2026 Session

The Jazz Lab is our introductory ensemble aimed at students just getting started with Jazz Improvisation. Each week we will learn about common Jazz scales and chord progressions with the end goal of being able to improvise over Jazz Standards. The semester is concluded with a recital where students can demonstrate what they have learned.
